Luna is a new person, she is my unborn daughter. Yes, I am pregnant and I am totally happy with it. The time has come, my family started growing again, after some much to early deaths in the past ten years. In April Luna will be born, but she has her own head already... Every other Mom will know that, you want to sleep, baby is driving the bicycle inside your belly.

But the title of this journal is "Luna", not "my baby". So what I want to say about Luna is the following.

In the last years I used this name more and more for myself, as a nickname. It is one of my favourit names, correctly it is my favourite name for a female, because of the sound and the meaning - moon-. The moon constantly changes but it always is clearly the moon. That's like I am, my interests and feelings have many different sides, but I am always myself. It took me a long time to realize this.
But now, what I didn't expect, my husband and I agreed in Luna for our daughters name. So my daughter has the most beautiful name (in my opinion) I know. But I can't call myself and my daughter Luna. Luna is my daughter now, no longer me. That's why I have to choose a new nickname for me. My choice is Minerva. Minerva is the virgin goddess of poetry, medicine, wisdom, commerce, weaving, crafts and magic. Of course I am not a virgin, hello I am pregnant! But a part of my soul never grew up, it's still a child and simple hearted… For my personality the wisdom and the magic are the most important characteristics of Minerva. In the past I had a name for the scientist inside of me, who reaches for wisdom and a second name for the esoteric interested woman (the witch). So Minerva is the symbiosis of all three parts of my soul, the child, the scientist and the witch. What shows my emotions in a really nice way. I feel much less inwardly torn than in last years. I've found my balance, my place. My place is next to my husband, as Lunas mother having an academic title.

And by the way, Minerva McGonagall is my favourite teacher at Hogwarts, because she is strict but fair and can transform into a cat. If I should be a teacher ever, I hope I'll be like her.
